MAX17572 Step-Down DC-DC Converter

Maxim's MAX17572 is a high-voltage, high-efficient, synchronous step-down DC-DC converter with integrated MOSFETs that can operate over a 4.5 V to 60 V input. This DC-DC converter can deliver up to 1 A and generates output voltages from 0.9 V up to 0.9 x VIN. The feedback (FB) voltage is accurate to within ±1.2% over the automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. 

Two evaluation kits are available. The MAX17572EVKITA# has a 3.3 V output while the MAX17572EVKITB# has a 5 V output. The kits provide a proven design to evaluate the MAX17572. They are preset for the respective voltage outputs at load currents up to 1 A. The kits feature a 500 kHz switching frequency for optimum efficiency and component size, and an adjustable input undervoltage lockout, adjustable soft-start, open-drain active-low RESET signal, and external frequency synchronization.
