MP2188 Step-Down Switchers
MPS MP2188 Synchronous Step-Down Switchers are 1.2MHz monolithic switch-mode dual converters with internal power MOSFETs. These Switchers provide up to 3A of output current from 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage. These MP2188 switchers come in a 2.2mm x 2.6mm QFN16 package and provide 1.1V and 1.8V fixed output voltages. These step-down switchers provide a low supply current (Quiescent) of 80µA (IQ). The constant-on-time control provides fast transient response and easy loop stabilization. The fault condition protections include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. Other features are 100% duty cycle in the dropout, auto discharge at power-off, and stability with low-ESR output ceramic capacitors. Applications include Solid State Drives (SSD), low voltage input/output system power, handheld/battery-powered systems, and wireless cards.
