***rchild Semiconductor: The FAN6248 is an advanced synchronous rectifier (SR) controller that is optimized for LLC resonant converter topology with minimum external components. It has two driver stages for driving the SR MOSFETs which are rectifying the outputs of the secondary transformer windings. The two gate driver stages have their own sensing inputs and operate independently of each other. The adaptive parasitic inductance compensation function minimizes the body diode conduction maximizing the efficiency. The advanced control algorithm allows stable SR operation over entire load range. FAN6248 has two different versions - FAN6248HAMX having higher turn-off threshold voltage and FAN6248HBMX having lower turn-off threshold voltage.

FAN6248 Synchronous Rectifier Controllers: ON Semiconductor FAN6248 Synchronous Rectifier (SR) Controllers are optimized for LLC resonant converter. These controllers feature two driver stages to drive SR MOSFETs which rectify the output of the secondary transformer windings. The FAN6248 controllers are available in FAN6248HAMX and FAN6248HBMX versions. The FAN6248HAMX controllers offer high turn-off threshold voltage and FAN6248HBMX controllers offer low turn-off threshold voltage. Other features include light load detection, standby current consumption, and SR current inversion detection. Applications include high power density laptop adapter, LCD-TV, PDP-TV, RP-TV power, and high power LED lighting.Learn more
