AK15-Y High Power TVS Diodes
Littelfuse AK15-Y High Power TVS Diodes are designed for meeting the severe surge test environment of AC and DC line protection applications. Littelfuse AK15-Y diodes are 15kA current rating diodes with fast response and ultra low clamping characteristics compared to metal oxide varistors (MOVs). Littelfuse Foldback™ technology provides a clamping voltage lower than the avalanche voltage, but above the rated working voltage. Any voltage rise due to increased current conduction is maintained at a minimum magnitude, providing the best possible protection level. These AK components can be connected in series or parallel to create an extremely high surge current protection solution.
Littelfuse TVS Diodes
Littelfuse TVS Diodes are used to protect semiconductor components from high-voltage transients. Their p-n junctions have a larger cross-sectional area than those of a normal diode, allowing them to conduct large currents to ground without sustaining damage. Littelfuse supplies TVS Diodes with peak power ratings from 200W to 30kW, and reverse standoff voltages from 5V to 600V. Littelfuse SMAJ, SMBJ, SMCJ, SMDJ, P6KE, and 1.5KE TVS devices are ideal for the protection of I/O Interfaces, Vcc bus and other vulnerable circuits used in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications.Learn More
