The ADS5481/ADS5482/ADS5483 (ADS548x) is a 16-bit family of analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that operate from both a 5-V supply and 3.3-V supply while providing LVDS-compatible digital outputs. The ADS548x integrated analog input buffer isolates the internal switching of the onboard track and hold (T&H) from disturbing the signal source while providing a high-impedance input. An internal reference generator is also provided to simplify the system design.

The ADS548x is available in an QFN-64 PowerPAD package. The device is built on Texas Instruments complementary bipolar process (BiCom3) and is specified over the full industrial temperature range (–40°C to +85°C).
Analog-to-Digital Converter: ADS5483
OMO Electronic' ADS5483 analog-to-digital converters provide single-channel, 16-bit resolution and operate from both a 5V and a 3.3V supply. These TI devices offer a 135MSPS sampling rate, the highest available SNR and SFDR across the first two Nyquist zones at 135MSPS, and can achieve 78.6 dBFS SNR and 95dBc SFDR for a 70 MHz input frequency and 77.2 dBFS SNR and 87.5 dBc SFDR for a 100 MHz input frequency. The product's evaluation module includes a CDCE72010 clock synchronizer/distributor and open sockets for a VCXO and crystal filter. The ADCs are ideal for wireless communications, high-speed digitizers, software defined radio, and systems requiring high-linearity and low-noise.
