MIC5512/14/24 LDO Voltage Regulators
Microchip MIC5512/14/24 low-dropout (LDO) regulator features a low minimum operating voltage and low heat dissipation making it ideal for battery-operated applications including DSCs, GPS, PMPs, and PDAs. MIC5512/14 is an advanced general-purpose LDO ideal for powering portable devices. MIC5512/14 includes an auto-discharge feature on the output that is activated when the enable pin is low. MIC5514 features an internal pull down resistor on the enable pin that will disable the output when the enable pin is left floating. MIC5512/14 can also be put into a zero-off-mode current state, drawing virtually no current when disabled. The Microchip MIC5524 LOD regulator is designed to optimize performance in a small package. It is capable of sourcing 500mA of output current while only drawing 38µA of operating current. The MIC5524 includes an auto-discharge feature on the output that is activated when the enable pin is low and it has an internal pull down resistor on the enable pin that will disable the output when the enable pin is left floating, making it ideal for applications where the control signal is floating during processor boot up. The MIC5524 offers 2% accuracy, extremely low dropout voltage (260mV @ 500mA), and can regulate output voltages down to 1.0V. Equipped with a TTL logic compatible enable pin, the MIC5524 can be put into a zero-off-mode current state, drawing no current when disabled.Learn More
