Microchip Technology MCP3428 16-Bit Delta-Sigma ADCs: Microchip Technology MCP3428 series features low noise, high accuracy, 16-bit, Delta-Sigma (ΔΣ) Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) with an I²C™ interface and on-board reference. The MCP3428 ADCs feature four differential input channels. The on-board 2.048V reference voltage enables an input range of ±2.048V differentially (full scale range =4.096/PGA). MCP3428 ADCs can output analog-to-digital conversion results with rates of 15 (16-bit mode), 60 (14-bit mode), or 240 (12-bit mode) samples per second. The rate is based on the user-controllable configuration bit settings. Users can specify the settings with the two-wire I²C serial interface. During each conversion, the MCP3428 ADCs calibrate offset and gain errors automatically. This provides accurate conversion results from conversion to conversion over variations in temperature and power supply fluctuations. Learn More
