Analog Power Supply / Power Management ICs
Freescale Semiconductor analog power supply and power management devices include the MC34700 high efficiency A-output power supply with on-chip power MOSFETs featuring three step-down switching regulators and one low dropout linear regulator. The MC34700 operates from an input voltage of 9V to 18V and is ideal for space constrained applications requiring multiple power rails. The Freescale Semiconductor MC34704 multi-channel power management IC addresses power management needs for various multimedia application microprocessors. The MC34704 provides either 5 or 8 independent output voltages with a single input power supply, making it ideal for portable devices powered by Li-Ion/polymer batteries or for USB powered devices. The Freescale Semiconductor MC34844 is a 10-channel LED backlight driver with integrated power supply. The MC34844 high efficiency LED driver features an integrated boost converter that generates the minimum output voltage required to keep all LEDs illuminated with the selected current, providing the highest efficiency possible.
