ACNT-H79x Optical Isolation Amplifiers: Broadcom ACNT-H79x are high-linearity optically isolated amplifier devices in a 14.2mm wide creepage and clearance SO8 package. They are designed for current and voltage sensing applications in systems like motor drives and renewable energy inverters. In a typical motor drive implementation, the ACNT-H79x can be used to sense a voltage drop across a sense resistor. A differential output voltage that is proportional to the current across the resistor is created on the other side of the optical isolation barrier.
