Analog Devices AD5620/AD5640/AD5660 nanoDACs
Analog Devices AD5620/AD5640/AD5660 nanoDACs are offered as low power, single, 12-/14-/16-bit, buffered voltage-out DACs. Guaranteed monotonic by design, the devices integrate a power-on reset circuit that ensures the nanoDACs output powers up to 0V (AD5620/AD5640/AD5660-1-2) or midscale (AD5620-3 and AD5660-3) and remains at the voltage until a valid write takes place. A power-down feature reduces the current consumption of the nanoDACs to 480nA at 5V and delivers software-selectable output loads while in power-down mode. These devices have a power consumption rate of 2.5mW at 5V and 1μW in power-down mode. The on-chip precision output amplifier enables rail-to-rail output swing to be achieved. The AD5620/AD5640/AD5660 have a versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates up to 30MHz and is compatible with standard SPI®, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP interface standards. The AD5620/AD5640/AD5660-1 devices feature an internal, 1.25V, 5ppm/°C reference, enabling a full-scale output voltage range of 2.5V. The AD5620/AD5640/AD5660-2-3 devices have an internal, 2.5V, 5ppm/°C reference, allowing a full-scale output voltage range of 5V. Learn More
