F-RAM and Processor Companion Devices: Cypress F-RAM and Processor Companion Devices provide common functions required by processor-based systems. F-Ram and Processor Companion Devices are ideal for nonvolatile memory applications requiring frequent or rapid writes or low-power operation. Examples range from data collection, where the number of write cycles may be critical, to demanding controls where the long write time of Serial Flash can cause data loss. - FM33256B as a serial 2-megabit nonvolatile F-RAM memory featuring an Advanced High-Reliability Ferroelectric Process. The memory array is logically organized as 256K x 8 bits and accessed using an industry-standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) bus. Cypress's FM25V20 provides superior NoDelay™ write performance, very high endurance of 100 Trillion (1014) read/writes, and lower power consumption with a operation range of 2.0V - 3.6V. - FM33256B 3V Integrated Processor Companion with F-RAM offers commonly needed CPU support functions. Features include: active-low Reset Output for VDD and watchdog, programmable low-VDD reset thresholds, programmable watchdog window timer, nonvolatile event counter, comparator for power-fail interrupt, and 64-bit programmable serial number with lock.
