Jinlong Machinery introduces the C1020K001F, a member of its coin vibration motor series. This part is used to provide silent vibration alerts or haptic feedback to the user. Measuring 2.1 mm x 10 mm, it has spring contacts that are designed to allow mid-mounting the motor through a hole in a PCB. At only 2.1 mm thick, it is the thinnest coin motor currently available. Mid-mounting further reduces its profile to 1.2 mm above the PCB. The motor may be controlled by a transistor or FET switch. An IC driver is not required but may be used for haptic applications.
For applications requiring a higher vibration force, the C1030Q001F might be a viable option. Measuring 3.0 mm x 10 mm, it generates 1.25 G @ 2 VDC.
If these configurations are not suitable, Jinlong Machinery also manufacturers coin motors with diameters of 7 mm to 10 mm with thicknesses that range from 2 mm to 3.4 mm. These are available with wire leads, flex circuits, or spring contacts.
